The dealership I bought my 03 from wanted 210.00 PLUS parts for the 600. Two other dealerships wanted the same. All three were just going to change the oil and adjust the valves.....I did my own service.
The local motorcycle mech. in my town charges 100.00 for a first service. when I visited him he was installing a clutch on a Savage....re-doing a clutch job that had been done by a dealer and had lasted about 10 miles.
I guess that is why his shop is always full, huh?
